The Prayer Ministry and Fellowship Team are partnering to offer a special Passover Dinner and Seder experience. Menu and program details will be in the Sunday bulletins beginning February 8.
The Ministry will prepare lunch for 250 men, women & children in a Baltimore shelter on the 3rd Saturday each month January 17, Februay 21 and March 21. Help provide baked goodies to be taken, or join a team to take the meal. Questions? Call the church office, or speak with Pastor John Hevey.
The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to jointhem for intercessory prayer. Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00. Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you. Questions? Contact the church office.
The Prayer Ministry is coordinating this new outreach event. Meet at the church the first Saturday each month, 10am. Teams will be formed to walk through local communities and school lots. Sign up at the church to participate. Participate as your schedule allows. Questions? Contact Cindy Pressman.
Meeting at Devra Rivera's Sykesville home the 3rd Sunday each month to construct blankets, shawl's, etc. to be prayed over and given to a person experiencing an extended illness, or loss, or hospitalization. Ladies, bring whatever you are working on and fellowship. NEXT MEETING: February 8, 2:30-4:30pm. Questions? Call the church office.
Friday Night Fellowship is a blast; so, on February 6 blast your way through Laser Tag! Then, March 27 students will go to a Toby Mac Concert. Details from Pastor TJ, or on the Student Ministry bulletin board. Also, parents, look for the information and registration documents for this year's "M-FUGE" summer trip, June 22-27.
Here are a couple events for the men at Friendship, and your friends: February 15 Men's Chili / Cornbread Cookoff; March 6-7 Men's Retreat; April 25 & Sept 19 Men's Breakfast @ church; June 20 Kyaking; August Frederick Keys Picnic and Ballgame (TBA); and another CornHole Tournament October 24. Men, there's a place for you in 2015, give the office a call for more information about the Friendship Men's Ministry.
Learning is for everyone! Every 13-weeks, new adult topical studies are introduced, affording people the opportunity to meet new people and explore a topic of interest. Studies are designed so you can join the group at any time during the Winter Semester.
