NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, MAY 7

The Prayer Ministry is hosting this special national observance.  Friendship will be open 10am-3pm and 7-8pm for you to come and pray for whatever God lays upon your heart.  The National Prayer Service will also be shown.  Call the office if you have questions.

SPRING EVENTS

Spring is bursting forth at Friendship!  Take a look at what is on the schedule...Better yet, get involved!

NEW Men's Connections Group:  Monday mornings, beginning 4/27, 9:30, at the Marriottsville home of Floyd Cagle.  Questions? Call the office.

Men's Ministry Hosting Breakfast, Sat., 4/25, 8am.  Lots of food, great conversation, and exploration of the Scripture.  Coordinators:  Damon Boyle, Dan Stinchcomb, Ken Simms.  Questions? Call the office.

Father/Daughter Event at local Morning Breeze Farm, Saturday, May 2, 1-4pm...Reservations taken Sundays, 4/19 & 26.  For girls age 4-Gr 5.

COMMUNITY INVITED TO PRAY on FRIDAYS

The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to jointhem for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions? Contact the church office.

MONTHLY PRAYER WALKING, 10AM

The Prayer Ministry is coordinating this new outreach event.  Meet at the church the first Saturday each month, 10am.  Teams will be formed to walk through local communities and school lots.  Sign up at the church to participate.  Participate as your schedule allows.  Questions? Contact Cindy Pressman.

 

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

Meeting at Devra Rivera's Sykesville home the 3rd Sunday each month to construct blankets, shawl's, etc. to be prayed over and given to a person experiencing an extended illness, or loss, or hospitalization.  Ladies, bring whatever you are working on and fellowship.  NEXT MEETING: May 17, 2:30-4:30pm.  Bring your favorite project and enjoy the fellowship. Don't have a project but are interested in the ministry and participating in prayer?  COME.  Questions? HYMN SING to ANGEL'S TOUCH

Join the group who visit Angel's Touch Assisted Living, W. Friendship.  They will be lifting the spirits and having fellowship with the residents from 2-3 pm on:  Sunday, April 26 and May 17.  John Kendrick is the leader.  Call the office with your questions.

 

STUDENT MINISTRY EVENTS (Gr 6-12)

Friday Night Fellowship is a blast; so, on February 6 blast your way through Laser Tag!  Then, March 27 students will go to a Toby Mac Concert.  Details from Pastor TJ, or on the Student Ministry bulletin board.  Also, parents, look for the information and registration documents for this year's "M-FUGE" summer trip, June 22-27.

MEN'S MINISTRY EVENTS

Here are a couple events for the men at Friendship, and your friends:  February 15 Men's Chili / Cornbread Cookoff; March 6-7 Men's Retreat; April 25 & Sept 19  Men's Breakfast @ church; June 20 Kyaking; August Frederick Keys Picnic and Ballgame (TBA); and another CornHole Tournament October 24.  Men, there's a place for you in 2015, give the office a call for more information about the Friendship Men's Ministry.

SUNDAY ADULT GROW GROUPS

Learning is for everyone!  Every 13-weeks, new adult topical studies are introduced, affording people the opportunity to meet new people and explore a topic of interest.  Studies are designed so you can join the group at any time during the SPRING Semester.  A details brochure is available at the Welcome Desk, or by calling the church office.  Here are the SPRING topics:
