Friendship's Men's Ministry is gearing up for a wonderful year. There are several events planned in early months of 2012:
Saturday, January 28, 8am, Breakfast
Friday, February 24, Dinner at Golden Corral Restaurant, Frederick, 7pm
April 20-21, Men's Retreat @ Skycroft Conferent Center
May 5, 8am, Breakfast. Then, helping the Garden Ministry spread mulch.

This active ministry continues to provide opportunities for you to enrich your experiences with God, bless others through service, and enjoy the company of old and new friendships.
Early 2012 events:
Saturday, February 25, 3-5pm, "Plant Memories at a Winter Garden". Registration and Payment will be at church on Sundays, 2/12 & 19. Cost: $5 for father, grandfather, uncle and 1 one special little girl Age 4 - Grade 6. $1 for each additional little girl; ages 4-grade 6. SNOW DATE: 3/3. Contact the church office for more information.
Women's Retreat: Evening of Friday, May 4 then returning Saturday morning, May 5 for the entire day. Held locally at Bon Secour Retreat Ctr., Marriottsville. Details forthcoming.
Wonderfully made Prayer Shawls are lovingly constructed and bathed in prayer. Then, given to those who are experiencing chronic or acute illness, or recovering from surgery.
If you knit or crochet, etc., make shawls or lap blankets, there's a comfortable chair awating you. The "Wonderfully Made Prayer Shawl Ministry" meets the first Sunday each month at 2:30pm in a local home.

Ministering to the homeless in Baltimore. Providing a witness for Christ by providing hot lunches and a message for the men and the women & children. Meeting at the church the 3rd Saturday each month; leaving at 9am & returning by 4pm. Sign up on the foyer bulletin board to go to Oasis. Or, if you can't go, dessert donations are collected.

AWANA Clubs are back!
A proven discipleship program for children ages 3 to 6th grade! Fun games & activities, Bible study, memorization, awards all happening each Wednesday night, 6:45 - 8:15pm. Questions? Contact the church office, or Pastor John Hevey.
