  • STUDENT MINISTRY 2017 EVENTS

    REFUGE Student Worship Event @ Gethsemane Baptist Church, Glenelg.  Sunday, Feb. 12, 6:30-8:00pm.  Exciting evening of food, games, and music filled worship.  Let Pastor Neville know you will be going by Wed., Feb. 8.  Leaving and returning to Friendship.

    PARENTS' MEETING with Pastor Neville...Parents, plan to come and stay for Friday Night Fellowship on 2/24, 7:00-9:30.  Pastor Neville will have a parent's meeting during the evening.

     

  • WORSHIP ARTS OPEN HOUSE 2/26 12:30pm

    Choir-Praise Team-Band-Audio-Sound Teams:  Each of the team members invite you to this special gathering.  Get to know the folk who work together each week to prepare and present a glorious Sunday worship experience.  You can be a part of a team too!  Questions?     RETREAT:  Another opportunity to enjoy the company of other men at the Skycroft Conference Center Friday, April 28-29.  A program and meals/lodging.  Details soon.

     

  • CHRISTIAN LIFE AND SERVICE SEMINARS

    The CLASS schedule of seminars 9:45-10:45am on Sundays, follows:

    CLASS 101 "Discovering God's Family" for visitors and regular attendees...All about Friendship Church...If you're interested in membership this seminar is a must...Next 101 is March 19 & 26.

    CLASS 201 "Discovering Spiritual Maturity" explores 5 healthy spiritual habits to cultivate throughout your life...Next 201 is April 2&9, 23&30.

    CLASS 301 "Discovering My Ministry" explores how God has uniquely designed you for service in His Kingdom...Next 301 is May 7-28.

  • OASIS HOMELESS MINISTRY

    This ministry is held October 2016 thru March 2017; 3rd Saturday each month.  Plan to sign up to go to the shelter with a group (20 folk limit), or donate baked goodies, or help prepare a hot lunch for up to 200 homeless men, women, and children.  Questions?  Speak with Pastor John. Next Oasis Visits: January 21; February 18; March 18 is final visit.  Meet at church 9:30am. Back by 3:30pm.

  • AWANA CLUBS 6:45-8:00pm

    Another fun-filled, spiritual adventure each Wed. during the school yearfor PK 3-5 (Cubbies); 2nd Grade (Sparks); 3rd & 4th Grades (Ultimate Adventure); and, 5th Grade Ultimate Challenge.  Pickup a brochure at the Welcome Desk.  NEW this year...ON-LINE REGISTRATION is available!  You're already on the web page so click the "Event Registration" tab and proceed to register each child.  Commander Tracy Kent is returning to lead the Clubs.  AWANA GRAND PRIX Friday, March 10, 6:30pm @ church--Purchase your race car on Sunday morning or Wednesday night--Questions?   • COMMUNITY INVITED TO PRAY on FRIDAYS

    The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to join them for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions?   • SUNDAY ADULT GROW GROUPS WINTER 2017

    Learning is for everyone!  Every 13-weeks, new adult topical studies are introduced, affording people the opportunity to meet new people and explore a topic of interest.  Studies are designed so you can join the group at any time during the semester.  Donations are requested, but not required, to help offset work book costs.  A detailed brochure is available at the Welcome Desk, or by calling the church office.  Here are the WINTER topics:
