NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER Thurs., May 1

Friendship will be open for you to stop in and have prayer in our Prayer Room, or join others in prayer, or request prayer support.  Across our Nation believers who are called by His Name, Jesus, will be going before His Throne to entreat his wisdom, guidance, protection, and power.  Join fellow believers, stop in and PRAY:  Thurs., May 1 6-8am, or 10am-2pm, or 6;30-8:00pm.

MONTHLY PRAYER WALKING, 10AM

The Prayer Ministry is coordinating this new outreach event.  Meet at the church the first Saturday each month, 10am.  Teams will be formed to walk through local communities and school lots.  Sign up at the church to participate.  Participate as your schedule allows.  Questions? GARDEN MINISTRY MULCHING 9-Noon, 5/3

The 6-member team will be here spreading mulch on the gardens surrounding the church.  Grab your garden gloves, rake, wheelbarrel, whatever you can bring and come help the team.  Questions? Call the office.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER SPRING PARTY, 5/3, 2:30PM

Registration for a fun afternoon for mom/grandma/aunt, etc. and daughters Age 3-Grade 5.  Cost: $5.  Register by Sunday, April 27. Questions? Contact the office.

MEN'S MEAT FEST, Friday, May 9, 6:30pm

MEN, don't miss out of this GREAT grill'n experience!  Floyd Cagle is the grill master for hamburgers, hot dogs, pit ham and beef, chicken & pork BBQ, wings, sausages, venizon plus veggies and baked beans.  Call the office to say your coming!

POWER KIDZ KAMP, Weds., 5/28-8/27, 6:45-8:00pm

Summer fun for kids K-Grade 5!  No charge...Just register your child by calling the office.  Each child is eligible to earn a $5 Dairy Queen Gift Card by memorizing 11 Bible verses by the close of summer camp on 8/27.  And, each child will receive a free DQ cone coupon!

LOVE LOUD @ THE ELDERSBURG LAUNDRAMAT 6/7

Our Sunday School children in Grades 1 - 5 will be meeting at the laundramat from 10-11am to wash cars and reach out to those using the laundramat.  Contact TJ or Pastor Mark K with questions.  See you June 7 for a squeaky clean experience!

HOWARD COUNTY FAIR BOOTH MINISTRY, 8/2-10

Summer will be in full swing when this outreach opportunity occurs.  Begin to plan around becoming one of the 75 volunteers needed to man the Booth each day, 3-hr increments, 10am-10pm.  Contact the office for details.  A signup sheet will be posted on the foyer bulletin board in the near future.  Coordinator:  Blair Radney

COMMUNITY INVITED TO PRAY on FRIDAYS

The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to jointhem for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions? Contact the church office.

SUNDAY ADULT DISCIPLE-U

Learning is for everyone!  Every 12-weeks, new adult topical studies are introduced, affording people the opportunity to meet new people and explore a topic of interest.  Studies are designed so you can join the group at any time during the semester.
