EASTER SERVICES

Join us as we worship the King of Kings:

GOOD FRIDAY, 4/14, 7 P.M. and the Lord's Supper will be observed.

EASTER SUNDAY, 4/16, 8:00, 9:30, & 11:00 A.M.  Child Care for Infants thru Age 4.  NO Sunday Groups meeting.

Please note: The Wed. Night Supper has been rescheduled to the first Wed., 4/5.  Reservations will be made on Sunday, 4/2, using your bulletin insert, as usual.

COMFORT DOG MINISTRY CERTIFICATION TRAINING

The Comfort Dog Ministry is a "howling" success!  If you are interested in having your "best friend" certified as a Therapy Dog and the 2 of you become part of this unique ministry, contact Lori Colson (FBCComfortdogs@aol.com).  Registration deadline for the April 23 Sunday afternoon training sessions is April 9.

STUDENT MINISTRY EVENTS

Students grades 6-12 will want to stay alert for more details on the following activities:

Worship Arts Ministry is shouting out to the Lord of Hosts each week, & they'd love to add you to a platform team or behind the scenes...Give it a try by being a participant in the Easter Choir!  Rehearsals each Wed., 7-8pm...Contact Julie Snyder, Worship Leader

Friendship Fellowship Team serves everyone a scrumptious meal once a month; the 2nd Wed. Lots of different roles to be filled in preparation for the hungry crowd...Contact Debbie Pickett

MEN'S Events

BREAKFAST:  Never disappointing!  A great time of fellowship, hot breakfast, and good conversation...Sat., March 25, 8a.m.

RETREAT:  Another opportunity to enjoy the company of other men at the Skycroft Conference Center Friday, April 28-29.  A program and meals/lodging.  Sign Up and Payment of $90 for lodging, food, program, & paintball at the Welcome Desk in the foyer on Sundays in March.

 

LADIES Friendship TEA-rrific Afternoon 4/22, 12:30pm

CREATIVE CRAFTS MINISTRY APRIL 23, 2:30PM

The ladies will be gathering at Claudia Purkey's home to prepare chocolate treats for the Spring Break in Sykesville Love Loud event.  Call the office with questions.

Bring your family and friends for this free event at Cooper Park!  Lots of music, food, puppet show, petting zoo, and new this year Corn Hole Tournament!

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER 5/4, 8AM-1PM, Here

CHILD DEDICATION SERVICE, 5/14, 11am

Parents, as part of the Friendship family of God you are invited to dedicate to rearing your child in the ways of the Lord.  The service is for infants through age 4.  Details will be in the Sunday bulletins.

MISSION TRIP COMMISSIONING SERVICES

There will be 50+ folk will be the hands of Jesus while sharing His Gospel in many different ways this summer!  Look for these special services:

X-FUGE Camp...Students on mission in Philadelphia, PA...Service Sunday, June 11, 11am

2 Commissioning Services on Sunday, July 9, 11am:

Volunteers to the San Francisco area...Assisting retired missionaries Andrew & Connie Flagg with their new Hispanic church; The Refuge...AND, Volunteers headed to Jamaica to work with the Northeastern Missionary Conference to conduct residential summer camps for children.

AWANA CLUBS 6:45-8:00pm

The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to join them for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions? SUNDAY ADULT GROW GROUPS SPRING 2017

Learning is for everyone!  Every 13-weeks, new adult topical studies are introduced, affording people the opportunity to meet new people and explore a topic of interest.  Studies are designed so you can join the group at any time during the semester.  Donations are requested, but not required, to help offset work book costs.  A detailed brochure is available at the Welcome Desk, or by calling the church office.  Here are the SPRING topics:
